On recent vehicles new features for window regulators have been developed, such as Comfort (one touch) Function and an Anti-Pinch system.
These technological progressions are available through our extensive aftermarket window regulator range. As these are aftermarket window regulators there can be a slight visual variation, however they are developed to ensure compatibility with your vehicle. Magnum Vehicles Solutions window regulators are manufactured in the EU according to ISO 9001:2000 quality standards.
We stock;
Mechanism only, which does not include the motor and is to be fitted with the original motor.
Mechanism and Motor, which is the standard model without comfort (one touch).
Mechanism and Comfort Motor, which is the one touch version
Mechanism and Anti-Pinch system, which is a Comfort version with the added Anti-Pinch system (window stops moving when pressure is felt, such as a hand in the way).
For some makes and models the motor only is available.
Window regulators need to be fitted like for like, whatever you have now is what you need to replace it with e.g. if you have a Comfort (one touch) Function then that is what you need to replace it with. You cannot replace a Comfort Function window regulator with a standard model without making extensive changes to your vehicle.
* To choose the Drivers Side O/S Right Hand window regulator for your vehicle, check first to see if the vehicle is equipped with the Comfort Function.
If the window mechanism can be automatically activated with only one-touch on the switch, then the vehicle is equipped with the Comfort Function (usually the switch has a specific symbol).
If the window has Comfort Function and stops elevating when slight pressure is applied to the window then it is likely to have the Anti-Pinch system.
If it is necessary to maintain the finger on the switch button for up and down movement of the window, then the vehicle is likely to be a standard version and not equipped with Comfort Function.
If this check is not possible then the amount of wires or pins on the electrical connector can provide some information. As a general rule, standard window regulators have two wires and a two pin.
